How Polyjacking Works
Why Polyurethane Foam Is Often Preferred
Small injection ports (about 5/8″) are drilled through the concrete at engineered locations. Two-part polyurethane foam is injected beneath the slab. As the foam expands, it fills voids, displaces moisture, densifies loose subgrade, and lifts the slab to the desired elevation.
Polyjacking provides long-term stabilization. The foam doesn’t wash out, absorb water, or degrade in soil — making it more durable than cement-based lifting methods.

When Polyjacking Is the Right Fit
Structurally Sound
Polyjacking works on slabs that are intact but settled. If the concrete itself is failed or shattered, replacement is the better call — we’ll say so.
Soil Voids Present
Hollow-sounding concrete, drainage issues, or visible separation often signal void spaces under the slab. Foam fills them and locks the slab in place.
Need Same-Day Use
If a slab has to be usable today, polyjacking beats mudjacking and replacement by hours or days. Standard turnaround.
Avoiding Replacement
Replacement runs 4–10× the cost of lifting and takes weeks. If the slab is salvageable, polyjacking is almost always the right starting point.
